MEET JESSE

Fitness has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but it has looked very different through different seasons of my life.

I grew up competing in sport, played college volleyball at Olds College, competed for Team Saskatchewan in track and field, stepped on a bodybuilding stage, and have spent more than 13 years strength training.  I've also experienced what it feels like to fall out of routine, rebuild, start again, and realize that being fit means a lot more than looking a certain way or lifting the most weight in the room.  I have certifications from the International Sports Sciences Association as a Certified Personal Trainer, Bodybuilding Specialist, Nutrition Specialist, and Strength & Conditioning Coach, as well as my CPR certification.

That perspective is a big part of why I created Stone Summit Fitness.

I believe training should prepare you for your actual life.  Maybe that means feeling strong and confident in your body again.  Maybe it's running your first race, getting back into a sport you used to love, hiking somewhere incredible, improving your performance, or simply knowing your body can handle the things you ask of it.

My coaching combines strength, mobility and athletic principles without treating everyone like they're training for the same goal.  You don't need to already be fit, athletic, or confident in a gym to start.  And if you are experienced, there should still be a reason behind what you're doing.

I'll meet you where you are and help build toward where you want to be.

Because the goal isn't just to get better at working out - It's to build a body that lets you do more with your life.

HOW WE TRAIN

01
Strength

Build a strong, capable body for whatever you want to do outside the gym.  We train strength that carries over to everyday life, sport, performance and adventure.

02
Mobility

Strength means more when you can move well.  We train mobility, control and usable range of motion to help your body move confidently through life and training.

03
Connection

Training should connect to something bigger than the workout itself.  Your goals, your lifestyle and the things you want your body to be capable of are what give the training purpose
